send us a description and picture (if possible) and we will post the information for you.

Check the neighborhood - ask everyone you see if they have seen your pet.
Post flyers around your neighboorhood, in animal shelters and local stores.
Place an ad in the newspaper. Ads are free in the
Arkansas Democrat Gazette.
Check the found ads in the newspaper - a good samaritan might have found you pet.
Add an entry to
CARE's
lost & found.
Visit all the local shelters everyday if possible - ask to check the quaratine areas.
Do not assume that because your pet had on a collar or ID tag that you will be called.
It could easily have come off while your pet was on the streets.
Check the two photo albums (linked at top) for your animal - but remember this is not a complete list of animals
at LRAS.
Consider having your pet micro-chipped. This is a tiny electronic chip that is implanted
by a vet under your animals skin. Most shelters check for one when a dog is brought
in (LRAS checks every animal). Also make sure that your personal information with
the microchip database is up-to-date.
Have a current photograph - a picture says a thousand words and might make someone remember a dog they saw earlier in the week.
