General information about rescuing from LRAS

Unless the animal is already spayed or neutered, the animal must be sterilized by
LRAS or a local veterinarian. Regardless of whether your organization or
Last Chance Arkansas pulls the animal, all animals must be sterilized before being released.
If the animal is deemed too young or too sick by LRAS a waiver will be signed.
The waiver will include a date when the animal can be expected to be sterilized.
Proof of sterilization needs to be sent within five (5) businees days from that date.
Adoption fees are waived for rescue groups.
